Joe Satriani (CHICKENFOOT), Steve Vai y Steve Morse (DEEP PURPLE) se uniran para hacer gira por Europa formando el G3, durante los meses de Julio y Agosto. Las primeras fechas confirmadas son las siguientes:

G3 ha sido siempre una gira de conciertos de guitarristas organizada por Satriani. Desde su nacimiento en 1996, han formado parte grandes guitarristas como Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Yngwie Malmsteen, John Petrucci, Robert Fripp, Paul Gilbert, Uli Jon Roth, Michael Schenker, Adrian Legg y muchos otros invitados incluyendo a Tony MacAlpine, Johnny Hiland, Steve Lukather, Steve Morse, Keith More, Chris Duarte, Andy Timmons, Neal Schon, Gary Hoey, Brian May, Billy Gibbons, Johnny A, George Lynch, Patrick Rondat, Herman Li, Alejandro Silva y Eric Sardinas.
